Strengthening skills, confidence, and community through hands‑on trade education.
TradeSpeak is dedicated to empowering Indigenous communities through hands on trade education that builds confidence, strengthens cultural identity, and opens doors to meaningful employment opportunities.
Our approach blends practical skill development with cultural relevance, ensuring that every learner feels supported, respected, and connected throughout their journey.
Through mentorship, community partnerships, and real world training, TradeSpeak provides a pathway for learners to grow, achieve, and thrive both personally and professionally.
TradeSpeak brings new ownership, energy, and vision to a pre-apprenticeship program with a proud twenty year history of serving Indigenous communities across Ontario and Nunavut.
Now under the leadership of Robert, we are revitalizing and expanding the program with new courses and opportunities that guide students from pre-apprenticeship into formal apprenticeships.
Our goal is to deliver hands on education in essential trades like electrical, framing, and plumbing, building confidence and practical skills that strengthen homes and communities.
Our full circle model supports individuals through every step of their journey, including pre-apprenticeship training, formal apprenticeship placements, and job connections with hiring contractors.
We are expanding our curriculum to include community sustainable energy, homesteading, and practical herbalism, empowering communities with long term independence and practical skills for the future.
